Starting at 12:00am 5/19/2016 and lasting up to six hours, Ida County Landline 911 calls will not work due to fiber optic cable relocation as part of the US Highway 20 project.  Long distance calls from landline phones will also not work.  911 services on cellular phones will not be affected.

If you have an emergency requiring immediate response of law enforcement, a fire department, or emergency medical services during this time please call 911 on a cellular telephone. 

Battle Creek, Ida Grove, and Holstein also will not have landline long distance service or Frontier internet access while the work takes place.  Ida Grove residents will be able to contact the communications center on the non emergency line, 712-364-3146.
