On 5/11/2016 the Ida County Sheriff's Office and the Iowa Department of Transportation executed a search warrant and arrested Michael Pelsor, 63, of Battle Creek following an investigation.  Pelsor was charged with Identity Theft, Perjury, and 2nd Degree Fraud and is also being held on warrants out of Missouri.

The investigation is ongoing.
